A Brand New Season Starts Sat., November 16 at the JCC! Stay tuned for more information on the event and ad journal.
The JCC Indoor Facility will be closed Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day. The Summer Swim Club will be open Labor Day to Star and Swim Club Members. This is the closing day for the Swim Club. Shanah Tovah From the JCC! Thank you Abby and Barry Ages! The JCC’s 12th Annual Golf Outing proved to be a tremendous success as golfers enjoyed a great day out on the course. The Outing -- which raised funds in support of The JCC Scholarship Fund and Senior Health and Wellness -- took place on June 17 at Raritan Valley Country Club in Bridgewater, NJ with nearly 90 golfers participating. An awards dinner following the round honored Abby (JCC Golf Committee Co-Chair) and Barry Ages (JCC Past President) for their continued dedication and support of the JCC.

Congratulations! Our preschoolers from the Blaustein Early Childhood Center celebrated their moving up and graduation ceremonies in June. Students from the 2, 3, 4 year old and Kindergarten classes were joined by their parents and teachers at the JCC to commemorate all the wonderful memories and accomplishments from the 2012-2013 school year.
GET READY TO “FALL INTO FITNESS” AT THE JCC! The new schedule for Fall Group Fitness begins September 1. A new session of P90X Small Group Personal Training begins Sunday, September 8. Please refer to our Group Fitness Schedule, which will be posted on our website and available in the lobby. We offer an extensive lineup of more than 70 Group Fitness Classes each week. In addition to Les Mills BodyPump, BodyCombat and CXWORX, there’s J-Spin, Zumba, Aqua Zumba and Zumba Gold. Bridgewater Tide Fall/Winter Tryouts The JCC Bridgewater Tide Swim Team will be holding tryouts for the Fall/Winter season. Monday – Wednesday, August 5, 6 and 7 from 5:30-6:30pm. The JCC recently awarded two local high school students with The Larry Cubas Scholarship. Each year the JCC awards two $1,000 scholarships to two local high school students who attend public high school in Somerset, Hunterdon or Warren Counties. This year’s recipients are JCC members Rachel Brodsky and Eric Sherman, both 2013 graduates of Bridgewater –Raritan High School. This fall Rachel will be attending The College of New Jersey and Eric will attend Elon University. The scholarships were presented at the JCC’s Annual Meeting on June 18.
