Raritan Valley Country Club, Bridgewater Tee off with us at the JCCs’ 13th annual Golf Outing! The golfer registration fee is $335. The fee includes lunch, dinner, awards ceremony, hole-in-one prizes and contests. Hole-in-one prizes provided by BMW of Bridgewater, Bridgewater Nissan and Flemington Furs. Join us for a very special afternoon with local author and playwright, Ilene Beckerman as she helps us “Bring Back the Memories”. New Co-ed Adult Volleyball League Wednesdays, May 7 – July 2
New to the Birnbaum JCC is our coed adult volleyball league for ages 18+. There will be three sets each evening at 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30pm. Sign up as a team or as an individual; each team must have at least two female players. Questions, contact Carole Webb at x 212; CWebb@ssbjcc.org.
Re-Branding Of Our Fitness Center To The J-Fit Club The Birnbaum JCC has re-committed its goal of helping members achieve their greatest level of health and wellness. The program not only supports those new to the fitness arena, but also challenges those who need more to create more changes in their bodies. Choose, challenge, and change…choose fitness, challenge yourself daily with different fitness routines, and change the way you look. New Class Additions: BodyVive is a new one hour Cross Training Les Mills Group Fitness Class where participants work cardio, strength, and more. For all fitness and intensity levels. Silver Vive is a 45 minute version of Body Vive for beginners in fitness and active seniors. Simpler moves and no floor work. A Quick Spin is a 35 minute Spin Class Extended J-sit/babysit Hours for all fitness levels. Held on Tuesday’s after the BodyVive class. The JCC offers babysitting for free New Buddy Personal Training: to members. The HR. JFit Club Train with one, two, or three of your closest friends or family members. This small hours are now Mondays 8am-1pm; group training offers a discount in personal training fees, while adding the comTuesdays 9am-1pm; Wednesdays fort of having someone workout with you. 10 sessions for only $300 (vs. $450 for 8:15-11am; and Thursdays 10 individual sessions). 8:30am-1pm JFIT CLUB – TEEN FITNESS A new fitness program for ages 10 and above! All teen fitness classes are open to members only; $10/class for basic members, STAR members are free!
Summer Swim Team Monday, June 2-Friday, August 1 $100 family/raffle
The Summer Tide is a great introductionto competitive swimming! Refine yourcompetitive swimming skills and experience the excitement of racing in a relaxed Summer swim atmosphere. There will be meets two evenings a week from mid-June through the end of July, ending with a championship meet at the end of July/beginning of August. Swimmers 9 & up must be able to swim two lengths of the pool in freestyle and backstroke and be legal in 3 out of 4 competitive strokes. Jewish LIFE (Learning Is For Everyone) thanks you for supporting this past season of our adult education program. We thank our Patrons and Benefactors and all those who attended and supported Jewish LIFE programs and events this past season. We were thrilled to offer two new prestigious adult education programs this season: The Melton School and Engaging Israel. Our Jewish LIFE calendar was filled with a wide range of opportunities for learning that were well attended and enjoyed by so many in our community. We look forward to a new season of Jewish learning featuring guest speakers, cultural programs, and classes.
