The year 2022 laid the foundation for the future, as your Board of Directors approved a new business plan that will guide us through the year 2030. In the next eight years Bridge Credit Union will focus on growth and geographic expansion, community and philanthropy, sustainable financial growth, and member engagement. This focus will give us endless opportunities to deliver the locations, products, and services that you, our members, deserve.
In April of 2022, with a focus on our strategic initiatives, we completed a merger with Struthers Federal Credit Union in Struthers, Ohio. This brought our membership to over 13,000 members and our total branch count to five. On behalf of our existing membership, we would like to welcome these new members and employees to the Bridge family. In July we continued our focus on community and geographic expansion and moved into our new corporate headquarters and branch in Powell, Ohio. This building gives us over 22,000 square feet of space for our current operations, and will give us room as we continue to expand the Bridge team to serve your needs. Adding the Powell location brings our branch count to six.

The end of 2022 saw many operational upgrades including card processing changes, upgrades to electronic services, and the launching of a new phone system. These are just a few examples of the ways we are working to engage our members and to enhance our member’s experience. In addition to growth in membership and branches, Bridge Credit union saw strong financial growth. Our assets grew 28%, resulting in overall loan growth of 11%. We are grateful that you, our members, continue to trust us with your deposits, and look to us for your lending needs,
The year 2022 truly laid the foundation for our future. A future that will see more geographic expansion, more convenient locations, and a commitment to have an impact in all the communities we serve. I am humbled to serve as your Credit Union President/CEO and am thankful for your continued support and trust in our Credit Union. I look forward to the future we are building together.
Jarod N. Bach, President/CEO
