FROM t h e EDITOR

O

ne of the perks of being the editor of this magazine is getting to do what’s called a “site visit” at destination resorts around the world. It’s one thing to scroll through a gallery of beautiful hotel suites and spa facilities; it’s another to experience them firsthand and decide whether they’re worthy of the pages of Bridal Guide. Tasting the food, booking the massage, even sleeping in the bed to test just how comfortable it is—these details matter. I want to be certain that if you choose to visit, you’ll never regret the decision.

That’s why travel is such a big conversation here. While the details of a wedding are carefully cu-

rated—we hire the best planner, florist, caterer, and DJ to ensure every moment is flawless—it’s where you go after the big day that’s entirely your own. That long-dreamed-of, once-in-a-lifetime trip? It

should absolutely be worth it. It should surprise you, delight you, and exceed every expectation you have for your honeymoon. And the definition of a honeymoon is evolving. As much as we love a toes-in-the-sand cocktail moment, many couples are now seeking a wellness-driven escape. In this issue, we explore two very different “healthy honeymoons”: one at Sensei Lāna‘i, A Four Seasons Resort in Hawaii, and the other in upstate New York with The Ranch. I’ve experienced both, and while each has its own deeply rooted philosophy designed to help guests return to their healthiest baseline, they share one goal: ensuring you leave refreshed, lighter, happier, and truly restored. My hope is that you see your honeymoon as an amuse-bouche for a lifetime of travel. Don’t make it your one and done trip of a lifetime—make it the beginning. A taste of what you’ll continue to explore together year after year. See the Seven Wonders. Ride the Orient Express. Climb a mountain. Because in the end, travel isn’t just a getaway—it’s where life expands. Yours, Danny Seo
