At recent lunch meetings held by Bribie Island VIEW Club the members were kept up to date on both current legal matters and the importance of staying active as we age.
Dean Stibbe, from Files & Stibbe presented current information on having a valid will, an Enduring Power ofAttorney and anAdvanced Health Directive especially if you want to have a say in what happens to both your body and property once you have died.. Dean also advised us about some of the problems caused especially for your loved ones when a person dies intestate.
The following month personal trainer,Tom Law fromTom's Law presented an honest and informative talk on how to stay fit and healthy, especially during our later years.At one stageTom had the ladies up out of their seats bopping along to a very active piece of music.
Bribie Island VIEW Club raises funds and sponsors six students fromThe Smith Family's Learning For Life Programme.
