Bethel High School | NAC

I was working on the new Bethel High School from the very beginning of the project. From early conceptual drawings based on input we were hearing from early user group meetings to preliminary space planning based on budget restrictions, all the way to preparation for permitting. I had a hand in many elements of this project, but my main and most important task on the team was that of model manager. It was my weekly responsibility to distribute model updates to consultants, link consultant’s models to the main model in the cloud, perform regular maintenance on the cloud model as well as create a regular archive of our work.

I came to this project when the team was well into CDs. I mainly worked on interior elevations as well as cabinet details. I found some time to add my own voice to this project with interior elements. In the main athletic hallway, I developed the font for the name of the school mascaot: Vigilantes, that will be painted on the wall. For the main gym and commons I developed a design for the tectum panels that was meant to give the spaces a more dynamic element and elevate the feeling of school pride.
