finding ores can’t find the ore you want? Have you ever gone mining, and had trouble finding that resource you need? Whether it be basic iron, or even ancient debris in the depths of a different dimension, finding those valuables can be tough sometimes. In this guide, we’ll be highlighting the best y-levels* and strategies for each ore. *Y-levels are the Y coordinate of your position (X, Y, Z)
special exceptions Some ores have special strategies or locations to find them, in addition to normal mining. These ores include:
Copper ore - dripstone caves One of two ores that generates MORE in a specific biome.
gold ore - badlands/mesa One of two ores that generates MORE in a specific biome.

have you heard of pvp? PVP (Player vs Player combat) is the interaction between two players fighting. Version 1.9+ completely revamped combat, and many players still favor 1.8 (1.8.9) combat. In the past few years, the PVP community has attracted many new members. A variety of gamemodes exist in both versions of PVP.
SUMO
Sumo has a simple objective. You spawn on a circular platform, and are aiming to knock your enemy off with your fist (no one takes damage). Try to W-tap to deal more knockback. One of the more “cheater infested” gamemodes.

The boxing gamemode, Jack’s favorite, is also quite simple. In this gamemode, hits matter. First to 100 hits wins. Weapons don’t matter, as you take no damage. W-tapping once again is a good strategy towards winning. 10
pot (potion) pvp In this gamemode, players take damage upon hits. You start with 28 splash instant health potions that heal up to 4 hearts at a time. Players are given 12 pearls that have a 12 second cooldown, for when they need to escape. The first to use all of their pots usually loses. In order to heal a full 4 hearts, look diagonally down in front of you and splash while running.

Whether it’s to make a hole into the void or to get onto the nether roof, bedrock can be broken for many different uses. Some do it to have a hole into the never-ending void, while others create farms on the nether roof.

Item Duplication
For years, the community has discovered duplication glitches, mot of which get patched. As of version 1.18.2, many iconic dupes still exist, such as gravity blocks (sand, gravel, concrete powder, dragon eggs, anvils), tripwire hooks, and carpets/rails.
Security exploits
The last thing you would want when you’re playing Minecraft is to get a virus on your computer! Exploits such as these have occurred in the past; most notably, the Log4Shell exploit in late 2021 (now patched), when a simple message in the chat could install malware.
