CEO and Founder of HumbleHQ®, “The Home of the most Leading Content Creation Worldwide”, Brett Baines Creative Boy Genius ®
Many persons shy away from Humility because of its negative connotation; most people believe that if they walk in Humility, it could turn into everyone thinking they're easily walked over, that if one chooses to operate in the attributes of Humility, they will be esteemed to be less than, insignificant, and weak. –– More often than not, we heed this thinking because we're still equating Humility with minimizing ourselves and downplaying our gifts and talents. Nevertheless, Humility isn't when we walk around and portray that we aren't good at a thing for the acceptance of others; Humility isn't when we don't show up as our most confident selves for the sake of others not feeling small; Humility is not the constant apologizing for our light. –––that's probably a greater depiction of False Humility. ––– Authentic Humility is when we know exactly who we are; when we are more than aware of our gifts, talents, beauty, status, etc.-––Yet with a simultaneous understating that we're no more significant than the individuals working, building, and growing around us, and not only are we no more significant, but we are as equally fallible, and as equally human. Moreover, our understanding of this is portrayed in how we treat those around us. ––– An old timeless quotable states, "Treat the Janitor like the CEO." Imagine if your CEO disguised himself as an entry-level employee, and you, being a senior employee, decided to treat them less than human.–– Now imagine how mortified you'd be to find out the person you've treated as small, insignificant, and less than, turns out to be very intellegent, and very powerful. –– Imagine how instantly humbled you’d be…Walking on eggshells, right? This is why we must humble ourselves. We can't esteem anyone as less than us, neither can we esteem ourselves to be more than anyone else, because we're all the same in humanity. Moreover, Humility is a culture we want to adopt at "The Home of the Most Leading Content Creation Worldwide®" because it lays a Solid Foundation (TWA Hotel pg. 11) for our partners to first feel freely respected on the basis of simply being human. We believe at HumbleHQ® that Humility is a culture that aids in genuine Human Connection, Community, and Collaboration. –– However, you know we're always going to keep it real, or should we say, we’re always "Keepin' it Authentic"; therefore, we have a No Bullsh*t Policy when it comes to the proper treatment of any human being working alongside us. At HumbleHQ®, we are no respecters of persons; we are only respecters of character. Hence, we'd like to reassert our most prominent statement to date, "Here at HumbleHQ, if you don't Humble yourself, we'll Humble You.” - Bless.
