This Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement is intended to discharge in advance the City of Oakley, the Oakley Union School District, the Liberty Union High School District and its officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with myself or my child/ward’s participation in said activity, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above.

Please register one week prior to the class start date. Each class has a minimum enrollment requirement to cover the cost of the program. Early registration is recommended.

REFUNDS

Refunds must be requested prior to the start of the first sessions. All facility and class refunds will be assessed a processing fee. No refunds will be given after the program has started.

MAIN STREET CAR SHOW

Coming Soon Koda Dog Park!

Koda Dog Park is starting to take shape with the construction of Phase 2. The walkways through the park have been set and fencing for the designated play areas and landscaping are soon to follow.

The Park will have designated areas for large dogs, small dogs, and for agility training. The added amenities to this project such as a prefabricated restroom and a shaded group picnic area, will be installed to benefit users of the existing Nunn-Wilson Family Park and future visitors of Koda Dog Park.

Phase 1 of the project which installed the restroom and parking lot is nearly complete, all that remains is an electrical connection that will provide power to the park.

We are expecting to open the park sometime this spring for all users, especially for all dogs and pet owners in our community.

The Summer Meal Programs are funded by United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

The USDA and the CDE are equal opportunity providers and employer.

It provides healthy meals for children ages 2‐18 during the summer months when regular school is out. There are no enrollment, paperwork or income qualifications required to participate.

Children age 3 through grade 5 are invited to download the age specific coloring sheet or pick one up at City Hall. First place winners in each age group (ages 3 – 4, grades K/1, 2/3, and 4/5) will receive a $25 gift card!

Middle School, High School students and adults are invited to create original artwork that conveys the theme My Heart of Oakley. Use pencil, chalk, water color, acrylics, etc. to express what makes Oakley special to you! First place winners in each age group will receive a $50 gift card!

Maximum size 12” X 18” matted. No frames and no glass will be accepted.

Work will be accepted August 20 – 31 only and will be displayed September 4 – 22. First place winners will be notified on September 20. All work that has not been claimed by 4:00 p.m. on September 28 will be discarded.

Contact information must be on the back of the artwork for judging. Please include name, age/grade category, email and phone. Artwork with identification information on the front will not be eligible for judging.
