Saturday, April 2, 8am – 2:30pm Check-in starts at 8am Civic Center Plaza, 3231 Main Street Entry rules and information: • Registration is FREE and open to all ages. Space is limited and pre-registration is highly recommended. If space is available, participants may register the day of the event.

• Participants will be assigned a 3’ x 4’ space by organizers at check-in. Artwork will be located on the concrete dance at the Civic Center Amphitheater.

• Participants will be given a set of non-toxic chalk sticks. It is permissible to bring chalk from home but it must be non-toxic and washable. No stenciling is permitted.

• Artists may begin work once they have checked in. Work must begin no later than 10am and be completed by 1pm so that judging may take place.

• Awards will be handed out at approximately 2pm.

• All artwork must be family-friendly. No nude or lewd images permitted. No political or commercial statements allowed. Organizers have the right to disqualify and/or remove any inappropriate art or writing as they deem necessary.

Judging/Awards: • A panel of judges will consider creativity and use of color .

• A winner will be awarded a $50 cash prize in each of the following age categories: Ages 6 – 10, 11 – 14, 15 – 18 and ages 19+.

Are you tired of asking your parents and friends for a ride? Are you at least 15 years of age? If so, this class is for you! This is an interactive, online course with videos, animated driving scenarios, and sample test questions. Learn the rules of the road, major causes of traffic collisions, DMV procedures, and much more. Receive a DMV-approved Certificate of Completion which is required for teens under 17 ½ years of age in order to obtain a learner’s permit and driver’s license. Biddy Sports is like no other program! Boys and girls ages 3 – 5 years, will learn the fundamentals of the sport and develop social skills in a fun, safe, and family-oriented environment. The class provides a non-competitive introduction to team sports where children can participate at their own level and ability without keeping score. Each one-hour class includes a fun group warm-up, practicing with their team, and playing a game. The time may vary from week-to-week, but your child will always play on Saturday at either 9:30 or 10:30 a.m. Parents get involved by volunteering to coach their child’s team. All training is provided and no experience is required. You can volunteer when you register your child. The T-Ball registration deadline is April 6 or until filled and the coach’s meeting will take place on Sunday, April 10, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. The Soccer registration deadline is August 10 or until filled and the coach’s meeting will take place on Sunday, August 14, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Age: 18+ Location: Crockett Park (4150 Richard Way) Instructor: David Smookler Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the country with approximately 2.5 million people playing a game that is like tennis and ping pong put together! The court is 1/3 the size of a tennis court and you use a paddle and whiffle ball. With almost no running, this low-impact sport can be played by all ages! Students will learn finesse, lob, and power shots which will lead to exciting play in real pickleball games in each class. A very comprehensive course for the lay rescuer.

In the first part of the class, you will learn how to assess and treat victims of all ages in the event of a medical emergency. It will include CPR, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and the skills to help someone who is choking. The second half, you will learn bandaging techniques. treatment for shock, bites, stings, allergic reactions, frostbite, heat stroke, control of bleeding, burns, and much more.

Cost includes your book and the certification card, which will be provided upon successful completion.

Are you prepared to be a first responder? Chances are you will be the closest person to assist your family or friends in an emergency. This is a no frills, no pressure class where you can learn CPR and practice your skills on the manikins.
