Welcome Friends:

It is my privilege and honor to welcome you to the 2024 Brentwood St. Patrick’s Day Parade! As a newly elected member of the Suffolk County Legislature, I want to introduce myself to you all. I am excited to join residents from Brentwood and the surrounding community, who have gathered for almost 60 years in celebration!

As a public servant, I understand the impact that our work can have on our local communities, and the good that can come from those who work diligently in their roles. Because of this, I want to acknowledge the commitment, dedication and achievements of this year’s Honoree and Grand Marshal, John C. Cochrane Jr., for his public service within the Town of Islip Council, and for his bravery and service as a Captain in the US Navy. His life-long service is truly deserving of today’s recognition.

On behalf of the residents in the 16th Legislative District, I would like to extend my best wishes to Grand Marshal Cochrane, and my appreciation to the Brentwood Parade Chairman Michael J. Grant, Jr. and the entire committee. Thank you for all your hard work in planning, organizing and overseeing this wonderful tradition in Brentwood. This committee brings the community together year after year.

I am grateful to serve the residents of the Brentwood Community and I look forward to seeing all of you!

Sincerely,
