Brentwood Academy is a co-educational, independent, college preparatory school dedicated to nurturing and challenging the whole person—body, mind, and spirit— to the glory of God.

T

his publication is testament to the love and support from faculty, parents, parents of alumni, alumni, and grandparents for Brentwood Academy.

It is humbling to reflect upon my memories of the school’s founding in 1969. My father was a 34-year-old founding headmaster; T.P. Kennedy’s cows grazed on what are now the baseball and softball fields; construction had begun on the first four classrooms; and, in faith, those first 74 families stepped out and began the journey of offering exceptional education built on a culture of Christ-centered relationships. I am so grateful to all the men and women who came before us and to have the opportunity to watch God’s work among the BA family and our community over the years.

Headmaster Curt Masters consistently and confidently guides us in our mission to nurture and challenge each whole person – body, mind and spirit – to the glory of God. I am grateful for his principled leadership of the heart and soul of our school—the exceptional faculty and staff who are gifted and skillful in knowing, challenging, and pouring their hearts into our students and families.

We are grateful to God for His provision and appreciate the support of BA through volunteers and donors.

Brentwood Academy Parents Association BAPA assists the school and the headmaster in bringing about spiritual, intellectual, and physical growth in our children. Endowment The Endowment capital provides financial resiliency for all of Brentwood Academy, an important security in challenging economic times. The annual payout from the Endowment supports BA faculty and programs. Our goal is to grow the Endowment in the coming years so its annual income can more strongly support the priorities of BA. Endowed funds may be created with current gifts or planned gifts like bequests, charitable trusts or remainders of retirement funds. A donor may add to existing funds or may consider creating a new fund to honor a family member, faculty member or other specific individual.
