IMPACT REPORT
At Brent’s Place, our corporate and community partners are the heart of our mission. Your generosity—whether through financial contributions, in-kind donations, volunteer efforts, or media support—helps us alleviate costs and provide a safe, welcoming “home away from home” for families navigating medical crises.
Through the Community Catalyst Program, we unite partners like you, who are dedicated to uplifting families during the hardest days of their lives.
As we reflect on the first quarter of 2025, we’re proud to share the profound impact our Catalyst and Momentum Partners have made.

YOUR SUPPORT IN ACTION
Every form of support directly impacts families like Hayley’s.
Hayley was living her dream as a basketball player at Western Colorado University when sudden fatigue, nausea, and vision loss led to a diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Facing months of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, she traveled from New Mexico to Houston for a clinical trial, then to Denver for her transplant.
Away from home, Hayley and her mother, Alisha, found Brent's Place, where they were given not just a place to stay, but a sanctuary. The comfortable apartment, easy access to meals, and

opportunities for fun distractions made their challenging journey a little easier.
For Alisha, the support from the Brent’s Place team was invaluable. "Being in a city that isn’t ours, it was amazing to have so much support from the staff," she said. "They were there for us when things were hardest."

CHARGE CHAMPIONS OF THE QUARTER
This quarter, we’re excited to recognize Ability Specialists and DaVita Giving Foundation as our Charge Champions of quarter one!
Hands-On Volunteerism: In February, the Ability Specialists made the impactful decision to double their volunteer support for the remainder of 2025, increasing their efforts by 100%. Now visiting our pediatric campus twice a week, they play a vital role in maintaining our Safe-Clean guidelines and lending helping hands to Chef Kevin in the kitchen, ensuring families have access to fresh, ready-to-go meals.
Transformational Giving: We are thankful for our continuing partnership with the DaVita Giving Foundation, which recently awarded us a generous $25,000 grant. This gift will underwrite housing and support services for patients and families undergoing solid organ transplants, ensuring more families can call Brent’s Place home in the coming year.
Thank you, Ability Specialists and DaVita Giving Foundation, for leading the charge and making a lasting impact!
