2025 IMPACT REPORT

Where Healing Happens

As we reflect on 2025, one thing is clear: access to safe, stable housing is increasingly recognized as essential healthcare infrastructure for families facing life-threatening illness.

This year, Brent’s Place continued to meet growing demand for medically safe housing and wraparound support while navigating a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. We served more families than ever before, strengthened partnerships across the healthcare system, expanded programs that foster resilience and connection, and laid the groundwork for a transformational future.

At Brent’s Place, we know healing requires more than treatment alone. Families need proximity to care, financial stability, nourishment, community, and spaces that restore a sense of normalcy during a crisis.

In 2025, your support made home and healing possible for hundreds of families who traveled to Denver in search of lifesaving care.

Together we are creating a future where every family has a safe place to stay, access to lifesaving treatment, and a community that helps them heal.

A Healing Home

Brent’s Place goes beyond traditional hospitality housing. Designed specifically for medically vulnerable families, our medically safe accommodations adhere to rigorous infectionprevention standards that minimize exposure to harmful germs commonly found in public spaces.

Our Safe-Clean protocols include deep cleaning between stays, daily sanitation of high-touch surfaces, and the provision of hospitalgrade cleaning supplies and family education to help maintain a medically safe environment where healing can happen.

Who We Serve

As the sole provider of long-term, medically safe, cost-free housing for families near Denver’s leading hospitals, Brent’s Place supports patients of all ages undergoing lifesaving treatment, including:

Just blocks away from Children’s Hospital Colorado, our Aurora campus features 33 fully furnished apartments and 6 hospitality suites, providing a home away from home for pediatric patient families. The Fellow at Fitz

Directly across from Anschutz Medical Campus, Brent’s Place manages 39 fully furnished apartments and an onsite office suite to serve adult patients and their families.

Brent’s Place is one of Children’s Hospital Colorado’s (CHCO’s) most important partners, and a critical reason why world-class regional hospitals like CHCO and University of Colorado Hospital can serve so many patients as they do, and they truly enable more positive outcomes. We simply could not do it without them.

Kaye,

More Than Shelter

At Brent’s Place, healing extends far beyond medicine. While medically safe housing provides the foundation, it is the community built within our walls that helps families endure some of life’s most difficult moments.

A medical crisis impacts every member of a family—not just the patient. That’s why Brent’s Place provides trauma-informed programming designed to reduce isolation, ease stress, and create moments of normalcy and joy.

In 2025, supporters like you made more than 1,900 programs possible, bringing together over 31,000 participants through shared meals, caregiver support, arts and crafts, music therapy, community outings, holiday celebrations, and more.

These programs foster friendships, strengthen resilience, and remind families they are not alone. Whether gathering around a chef-prepared meal, celebrating birthdays, or connecting with another family who understands their journey, residents find a sense of belonging that is essential to healing.

For nearly three decades, Brent’s Place has known that housing alone is not enough. Families need stability, support, and community. Thanks to your generosity, Brent’s Place remains a place where families can do more than cope— they can connect, heal, and thrive together.

As a longtime supporter of Brent’s Place, I wanted to find a way to give a more substantial gift than I am currently able to provide in my annual gifts of cash. Naming Brent’s Place as a beneficiary in my life insurance policy was a perfect option for me. I’m so happy to know that once my time here is over, I’ll continue to serve this organization that I love through my legacy gift.

As demand for specialized medical housing continues to grow, Brent’s Place is preparing for a transformative future. Following a planning process that engaged more than 500 stakeholders, our Board of Directors approved continued exploration of a significant expansion of our Aurora campus.

Building on more than 28 years of experience, this vision will expand access to medically safe housing, strengthen family support services, and create a more sustainable future for the families who rely on us. Together we are working toward a future where more families can access lifesaving care while finding the connection, dignity, and community that make healing possible.

We are grateful for your partnership and look forward to sharing more as this vision continues to take shape.
