BRECKENRIDGE CREATIVE ARTS | BRECKCREATE

Through art, Breckenridge expresses itself as a town like no other, where the simple charms of our surroundings connect the most unlikely of neighbors: hunters to hippies, liberals to libertarians, beer drinkers to cosmic thinkers. Here, everyone has a voice they are encouraged to express. And the melody they create is anything but monotone. BreckCreate drives home the importance of the arts in establishing Breckenridge’s identity. It motivates the sharing of fresh perspectives; it entices those from outside the local community to engage Breckenridge as a creative destination. It promises an evolving experience that reinvigorates the soul with every return visit.

BRECKENRIDGE ARTS DISTRICT

The Breckenridge Arts District is the region’s newest epicenter of creativity, bringing together studios, galleries, performance spaces, historic landmarks, public art, restaurants, cafés and other creative businesses that animate and populate a vibrant cultural corridor in downtown Breckenridge. The Arts District’s core attraction is a multi-facility arts campus that hosts workshops, exhibits, artists-in-residence and a variety of other activities for locals and visitors alike. With a focus on educational and experiential enrichment, programs include classes in several media such as textiles, ceramics, metalwork, painting and more. Complete with decorative plazas and sculpture gardens, the Arts District campus serves as a community gathering place and a catalyst for creative expression in Breckenridge. The Breckenridge Arts District is a Colorado-Certified Creative District. Visit breckcreate.org for more information. 24-hour pre-registration required for workshops. All materials included unless otherwise noted. * Space is limited for FREE events; first-come, first-served.
