PARKING OPTIONS

FREE/LOW - COST LOTS

Vail Village & Lionshead Parking Structures offer free summer parking after 3 PM. Hourly rates and special event rates are published by the Town of Vail.

PAID LOTS

Ford Park & Vail Athletic Fields/Soccer Lots These are the closest lots and the best to choose for ADA or limited mobility. These lots run event rates published by the Town of Vail.

WALKING DIRECTIONS

From the Vail Village Parking Structure, enjoy a scenic 10-minute walk along the Gore Creek Trail to the amphitheater. The Ford Park & Vail Athletic Fields/ Soccer Lots, the walk is downhill.

WEATHER PREPAREDNESS

We recommend you bring layers appropriate for cooler mountain evenings & rain gear.

Rain or Shine – Shows go on!

DRESS CODE: COLORADO CASUAL

There is no formal dress code; comfort is key. Attendees often wear anything from jeans and T-shirts to more formal attire.

Evenings can be cool, so consider bringing a jacket or sweater.

Don't forget sunscreen and to hydrate! We are located at 8,150' in elevation.

Rain gear: Small, personal use umbrellas are permitted.

Empty, personal use, reusable water bottles are permitted. Water fountains to fill these are throughout the venue.

Blankets or tarps (no larger than 5’x7) for lawn seating.

Picnics: see below for permitted and prohibited items

Chairs: see below for height restrictions

Layers: Colorado evenings can be cool, even in summer.

CHAIR POLICY

Only short-legged chairs are permitted on the lawn. Chairs must be no more than 5 inches off the ground. Standard-height lawn chairs are not allowed.

PICNIC POLICY

ALLOWED

• Outside food, within venue bag policies.

• Personal-sized coolers (under 18qt).

• Empty bottles & sealed non-alcoholic drinks.

NOT ALLOWED

• Alcoholic beverages.

• Oversized bags or coolers.

• Non-service animals.

Applause: Wait until the end of a complete piece before clapping. You can take cues from your neighbors or wait for the conductors baton to come completely down to their side.

Silence: Silence your phone and minimize noise during performances.

Respect: Be mindful of those around you to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.
