Mansion Entertainment Group to expand services By K.D. MICHAELS, Staff Writer Branson’s Mansion Theatre recently shared plans to expand their services in a number of directions, to include television, music, animation and film. The Mansion Entertainment Group will be adding many stateof-the-art features, to include Mansion Sound and Mansion Animation.
Mansion Entertainment Group also plans to build Mansion Studios to be used for television and motion pictures. Said Mansion CEO Larry Wilhite, “We are in the process of an expansion of sound stages for symphony soundtrack production and post production that will rival anything in Los Angeles.” The new Mansion Studios
will not be located at the current Mansion Theatre site on Branson’s Expressway Lane, but will instead be built at an undisclosed location, several hundred acres in size, in Southwest Missouri, and will include multiple sound stages, ranging from 18,000 square feet to 48,000 square feet, a motion picture mixing stage, animation production, production and post-pro-
duction officers, and much more. Wilhite noted that the equipment used for Mansion Sound will not be available anywhere else, guaranteeing that this one-of-akind facility is top-of-the-line.
