Jeans for Teens named KRZK Charity of the Month By K.D. Michaels, Staff Writer A local nonprofit organization that benefits the young people in our area has been chosen as the Branson Central Bank and KRZK Charity of the Month. Jeans for Teens has a mission to provide a
new pair of jeans to Taney County students in grades 7 through 12. Approximately 25% of the youth in Taney County live at or below the poverty level. Many families are unable to afford new clothing for their children,

By Cindy Thomas, Staff Writer Local authorities are still uncertain as to who has been dumping young Chihuahua dogs around the Branson and Hollister areas. Last week, dogs were found in Branson, Branson West, Reeds Spring and Hollister, as well as the Ridgedale area and Omaha, Arkansas. As of press time, Taney County Animal Control shelter was housing 41 of the Chihuahuas, and SEE DOGS, PAGE 13
