With more and more equines needing our help, the extra funds generated by our twice yearly lottery help us to continue to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome as many of them as we can. Such as the 13 horses we discovered on a farm in Lincolnshire in 2022 who were being kept in unsuitable conditions with little or no food and in desperate need of veterinary attention. Sadly one young colt was in so much pain and discomfort, a vet at the scene advised he should be put to sleep to prevent him from further suffering. The remaining 12 are now safe in our care for the rest of their lives, including Chamberlain (pictured).
