Mabel Lizzie WVatson was born to the late Albert John Watson and late Esther Mealy Watson on June 9, 1923 in Goochland, Virginia. She attended local schools in Virginia and Pennsylvania and was baptized at an early age.

Mabel spent most of her adult life in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she worked as a nurse's aide until she

retired. After her retirement she moved back to her homeplace in Sandy Hook, Virginia. There, she took care of her parents, both who predeceased her.

Mabel was a beautiful, generous and loving person. She was known for her shocking white hair that she got at an early

age. She always kept it beautifully styled. She loved to entertain, had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed herself when her family and friends would visit.
