Dear Board of Regents, It’s with great pleasure we bring you an important update from the OSU Alumni Association.

As you know, we are at a critical point in our university’s history with the completion of the Branding Success campaign and the celebration of our 125th anniversary. It is crucial we maintain momentum in connecting and engaging the Cowboy family, and the Alumni Association is poised to play its biggest role yet in the advancement of our institution and our constituents.

With the university’s support, the Alumni Association serves a unique purpose in fostering connections for life between past, present and future generations of Cowboys and our alma mater. We are dedicated to serving every degree holder and any friend who proudly wears America’s brightest orange. To do so, we provide a wide range of programs to facilitate the life-long connections we sustain with hundreds of thousands of Cowboys.

In reflecting on our previous year, we wanted to highlight several points of pride helping to advance our mission. For students, we have launched the new Tradition Keepers program and published the Cowboy Legend traditions book designed to enhance every student’s OSU experience. Students are also joining our Student Alumni Association in record numbers, and our life membership option continues to strengthen our connection with recent graduates, which in time will benefit our alumni base as a whole.

More than 1,000 alumni are taking advantage of a new agreement with OSU Career Services providing enhanced support for job searches and professional development for graduates of all ages.

This new benefit is now included at no additional cost to all Alumni Association members. We are also relaunching the Traveling Cowboys program in January with eight exciting trips planned around the globe.

Membership is at a 10-year high, and we recently surpassed the century mark for the number of OSU alumni groups organized across the country. Our staff is now working with more than 700 volunteers both in Stillwater and abroad who serve as ambassadors on a daily basis for Oklahoma State.

All of these achievements could not be made without the backing of the OSU/A&M Board of Regents. We are proud to serve this institution and its alumni, and we ask for your continued support in our endeavors to support the Cowboy family.

As the Alumni Associationâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s largest revenue source, membership dues are critical to sustaining our programs and services for all OSU alumni and friends.
