REFUND POLICIES Any activity or rental cancelled by the Recreation Department will be refunded in full. To request a refund, visit department in person with written explanation for refund or e-mail written explanation to recreation@putnamcountyga. us. – Class Refund Policy - Refunds requested two or more business days prior to activity start date will receive a full refund/credit. 50% of the activity fee will be refunded if requested before the second meeting of the program. After second meeting of the program, no refunds will be issued. – Athletic Leagues Policy - No refunds will be issued once the practice begins for individuals and/or teams except under special circumstances as approved by the department Director. – Facility Rental Policy – Refunds must be requested 14 days prior to date of rental; 7 – 13 days before the event, 50% of refund issued; less than 7 days no refund will be granted. Rain-out policy for outdoor activities will result in a credit to be used within a year of the rain out date. Credit may be used for future rental or any program offered by the department. 6

In the event of any electrical, mechanical, or plumbing problems, it is in the best interest of the Recreation Department and the renter to have a representative on call to assist renter. A list of representatives is available on the kitchen wall. **Marion Street Swimming Pool - This is for Friday and Saturday from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm only. Weather permitted. The fees are based on the total number of people through the gate. The pool holds a capacity of 100 people inside the gate. We have to provide two lifeguards for the first 25 people inside the gate; then one additional guard for each additional 25 people inside the gate.

GENERAL

RENTAL GUIDELINES • Full payment, if any, is due at the time of booking. • Rental fees, including county personnel fee, should be made payable to Putnam County recreation Department (or PCRD). • All rentals and reservations must be made in person at the offices of the Putnam County Recreation Department. • Minimum age requirement for renting is 21 years. • State issued Driver’s License or Identification Card must be presented at time of rental. • There must be at least one adult chaperone for each 20 guests or individuals under age 18. • If using the swimming pool, there must be at least one (1) lifeguard for each twenty-five (25) guests or individuals. • Facility/grounds may only be used during times listed on your contract (this includes set-up and clean-up). • Facility/grounds may not be used for fund-raising, unless it is for a nonprofit organization or church group and has to be approved by the Recreation Director. • Facility/grounds may not be used by any group or organization having closed membership, which discriminates on the basis of race, sex, or national origin. • No alcohol use, smoking, loud music, fighting, weapons, or profanity allowed at any county facility/grounds. • No charge for admission allowed at any county facility/grounds unless approved by the Recreation Director. • Individual, group, or organization using county facilities/grounds agree to assume any and all liability for any injury or loss attributable to the use of the facilities/grounds and to hold harmless

Putnam County, its Board of Commissioners, employees, and agents for the same. • Insurance must be maintained on vehicles used for events on the grounds. • Caterers, DJs, Vendors, and Bounce House Companies must provide One Million Dollars worth of insurance for any event on county property. • Putnam County will not be responsible for articles left on premises. • Costs for damages must be reimbursed to Putnam County. • All events must end by 11:00 pm in all facilities/ grounds unless approved by Director. • Facilities/grounds must be left clean. • Full refunds for cancelled events can be issued only if the event is cancelled at least fourteen (14) days prior to the event. If notice is given thirteen to seven (13 to 7) days prior to the event, only 50% of the fee will be refunded. If notice is given six (6) days or less prior to the event, 0% of the fee will be refunded. If cancellations and requests for refunds are not received in writing, no refunds will be issued. • If events are cancelled due to weather, PCRD will offer you another day or a credit to be used within a year from the issue date.
