STORIED LEGACY MEETS BOLD NEW VISION

O

ver the past 25 years, Reynolds Plantation has been characterized by a decisive plan for growth paired with a commitment to innovation and excellence. With new ownership infusing renewed vibrancy and vision, Reynolds Plantation is taking the next steps toward becoming the “ultimate golf-resort community. Located on Lake Oconee, about halfway between metropolitan Atlanta and the revered golf locale that is Augusta, Reynolds Plantation has proven that a world-class travel destination--in this case, The Ritz-Carlton Lodge--can be seamlessly woven into an award-winning residential golf community. In addition to the dining options, spa facilities and other great amenities at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation features 99 holes of golf available to resort guests. The community is also home to the Reynolds Golf Academy, under the direction of Golf Digest 50 Best Teacher Charlie King, and the TaylorMade Kingdom, which provides a club-fitting experience usually reserved for professional players. Significant renovations to four of the six golf courses at Reynolds Plantation-all done under the watchful eyes of the legendary architects who originally created them--have reinvigorated this unique retreat as it prepares for a second 25 years of growth.

The National

Tom Fazio

Michael Raymond

(706) 467-1142

1997 (additional 9 opened in 2000) - Fazio took the natural Lake Oconee topography—thick pine forests, rolling landscape, and the dramatic lakefront—and added his own brand of beauty. The course features a hilly terrain accentuated by 60 feet of elevation change, strategic bunkering, and firm, fast greens.

The Oconee

Rees Jones

Mike Davenport

(706) 467-1200

2002 - Well-known for his work restoring and revising classic courses, especially those used for US Opens, Jones built a traditional, classically structured course. Holes mix opportunities for risk/reward shots with broad fairways and other forgiving features.

The Landing

Bob Cupp

Wesley Forester

(706) 467-1565

1986 - The first club built on Lake Oconee, originally called Port Armor and part of a different community later merged into the Reynolds collection. Winds through natural woods and over rolling terrain with three holes wrapping along the lake shoreline. Challenging course known for fast greens and demanding shots.

Cuscowilla.com

VOTED BY GOLFWEEK AS GEORGIA’S #1 COURSE YOU CAN PLAY IN 2014.

COME PLAY AND STAY. Designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, the Cuscowilla course is situated on 6,730 yards and holds a course rating of 72.6 with a slope of 133 on Dwarf Bermudagrass. Cuscowilla has received many accolades including “Top 100 Courses You Can Play,” by Golf Magazine, 2012, “#1 Best Course You Can Play in Georgia” by Golfweek 2014 and “#10 Best Buddy Trips in the World – Reader’s Choice”, Golf Digest, 2014. Cuscowilla’s 700-acre park-like resort has almost seven miles of water frontage on Lake Oconee. Throughout the natural beauty of the large pine trees and meadows are lakefront lots, estate golf lots, golf cottages and upscale townhomes and condominiums, many on the water. There are approximately 400 homesites on the golf course, waterfront, and wooded interior. The Frank Lloyd Wright inspired 14,000 square foot clubhouse is home to The Golf House Grill, the perfect spot for a casual lunch or afternoon drinks, and our Golf Shop. Cuscowilla’s Waterside Restaurant, helmed by Chef Gerald Schmidt, is the epitome of elegant dining on the lake. The friendly, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views of the lake, swimming pool, and golf course make it one of the most charming and serene experiences in the Lake Oconee area. Both restaurants are open to the public. For those not into golf, Cuscowilla also sports a pool on its lakeside peninsula and tucked away tennis courts. The Conference Center, a favorite business retreat for Atlantans, has four meeting rooms with wireless internet. We strive to make hosting gracious events easy and our members can use the club villas for guests. 12
