Christie’s Sells Its First Crypto Art Piece For $131,250

Christie’s Auction House sold its first piece of crypto art on October 7th, 2020. The piece by Robert Alice, “Block 21 (42.36433° N, -71.26189° E)” is the latest piece in the ‘Portrait of a Mind’ series and was at Christie’s as part of its “Post-War and Contemporary Day Auction”. The sale of the artwork went for more than seven times it’s predicted highest value of $18,000.
