ABOUT ONE/OFF Mission: ONE / OFF exists to liberate the Black imagination through digital art and technology so that the distinctiveness of Black creative expression is embraced and valued for its transformative cultural contributions. Our vision is to empower the global Black community to imagine their culture and ideas in the future supported by technology that enables them to retain ownership and creative control of their own culture. Developing a Black Arts + Culture Ecosystem on the Blockchain: • Providing resources and digital exhibition space for artists through our Black Art District initiative • Cultivating a new generation of art enthusiasts that see the value in adding Crypto Art to their collections • Partnering with Black curators and archivists to showcase the contribution of Black artists to the Crypto Art Movement and preserve their legacy for future generations Developing Market Analysis for the Black Arts Economy on the Blockchain: • Created a database of transactions for Black Artists in the space to gain insights into trends and opportunities to capture value in this niche market • Leveraging insights from the database to build the largest collection of Black Crypto Art on the Blockchain • Advising artists on strategies to grow and sustain the value of their market
INTRODUCTION ONE / OFF invites you into Zach Murry’s first solo exhibition, COSMOZACH: Iterative Fantasy. Housed within our Black Arts District, Iterative Fantasy combines COSMOZACH’S influences of science fantasy and his commitment to the iterative process. Of the exhibition he says, “each one of these pieces is a strenuous, conscious effort to improve at my craft, grow my technical ability, dive further into my own version of science fantasy and how I can achieve certain results and aesthetics, using 3D & 2D digital techniques. As a digital artist, I really am a work in progress and my work is a visual embodiment of this truth.” As you explore the gallery, COSMOZACH’s narration of each piece brings you deeper into his world. COSMOZACH’s approach to creating fantasy dreamscapes combines his limitless imagination and curiosity with an unparalleled work ethic that allows for continuous improvement in both his style and technique.
ABOUT COSMOZACH Zach Murry aka COSMOZACH is a science fantasy digital artist who creates fantasy dreamscapes, digital collages, photo manipulations, glitch art; using and building on known techniques in order to find new combinations. Therefore he likes to describe his approach as experimental as most of what he does is a result of trial and error.
