STENBERG RED BERRY 7519 TR-WCR RUSTLER 2510Z
— You could make an argument for numerous bulls in this year’s offering to be Lot #1, but in our opinion, this is one that rises above hitting on all levels — phenotype, performance, and pedigree. 524’s mother “Faith” is in a class of her own at our place as a brood cow and has countless high sellers including her first calf “Justify” that sold to Hilger Bros Charolais for $20,000. Whether the goal is high selling bulls, sale topping calves, or a pen of top end replacement heifers this guy checks all the boxes.

ANGUS/RED ANGUS
— I feel like it’s hard to get too excited about a composite bull, but when they are this good I start dancing a little! I wish we had 20 more like “510” to offer our commercial cattleman this year! In our opinion he is the perfect type of commercial man’s bull. Stout, square, long, with plenty of performance and built in calving ease. Out of our “855” Red Angus donor means that I also would not be afraid to keep all the daughters! Can go on heifer or cows.

RED PRINCE 019 PROGENY
—This could of easily started the sale with this one! Red Prince x 1008 donor. Full brother was our second high seller to R&K Charolais last year. As excited as his look and performance gets me it’s the pedigree that sets this guy apart. Between his dam and granddam there are 2 sons working in purebred operations. Without a doubt “1008” is our best young cow and she is leaving her mark hard and fast. All the guess work is done here.
— Half brother to Trendsetter who sold for $25,000. Sired by Red Prince 019 this guy has an extra shot of power compared to his brother, but with all the same quality. If you like them stout with an extra shot of bone and foot, this one will be worth the drive to Clay Center.

SALE NOTES
A WORD ABOUT OUR COOPERATORS
As all of you will notice on some of the bulls not only will you see Double C Ranch’s “SAC” prefix, but you will notice the “KCC”, “R&K”, and “HBC” prefixes as well. These are cooperators that we work with, but more importantly friends we have been able to grow with in the Charolais business. These operations have bought elite high-selling herd bulls and females from our program and have been using our genetics to grow their purebred operations. The bulls in partnership from these programs are put through the same rigorous requirements as our own. We hope that all our customers will welcome them and their genetics with open arms, because they are top notch and we couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with them!
Thank you Krezak Cattle Company, R&K Charolais, and Hilger Bros Charolais. We are humbled and excited to have you as part of the Double C Team and to continue the growth.
