Terri Lynn Williams

I live in Prince George’s County, MD and have two daughters sons-in law and a 2 year old granddaughter. I attended University and earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration Marketing. I am proud that my daughters and I are alumni Historically Black College/University.

My attraction to empowering others around me with electoral process began in high school and was further during my college years. Giving my time, commitment, others around me (in the community, family or friends) them to make our communities better and stronger me.

General Member, Branch Secretary, Third Vice President, Freedom Fund Chairperson, First Vice President, Civic Engagement Chairperson and Voter Empowerment Co-Chair. In my role as Voter Empowerment Chair, I organized the Get Out the Vote activities and managed community telephone banks to remind residents in Prince George’s County to vote. I also organized candidate forums for the community to meet the candidates running for the offices of Governor, Lt. Governor, Congress, State Senators and Delegates, County Council and School Board Members. I also coordinated with the Prince George’s County School Board members to meet with High School Seniors in the school system to inform them on the importance of voting.

I served the Prince George’s County Branch of the NAACP years in various capacities. I have held the following Member, Branch Secretary, Third Vice President, Freedom Chairperson, First Vice President, Civic Engagement Chairperson

My passion for providing information led to my volunteering with the Prince George’s County Board of Elections as a certi fi ed Voter Registration Volunteer Trainer. In this role, I trained volunteers to provide Voter Registration to non- voters. Currently, I am serving as the Alternate Democrat Board Member on the Prince George’s County Board of Elections.
