From English and French storytimes to STEM, gaming, reading, technology, and more, Brampton Library has something for everyone!
A few highlights include new Storytime Adventures featuring Rabbit and Bear Paws, Halloween, Diwali, Santa, and the Rose Orchestra; a winter artist market, a College and University Fair, and a startup huddle; amazing author talks, book clubs, and writers groups; the Artist in Residence Showcase; and FOLD Kids Book Fest. Learn new tech with our Get Started series and discover the latest innovations at Tech Fair.
Located on the 2nd floor of a new 5-storey office building at 8750 The Gore Road, Claireville Branch Library offers 11,000 square feet of natural-light-filled space, perfect for studying, relaxing, attending programs and borrowing everything from books to bird kits. You will see programs throughout this guide being offered at Claireville and we look forward to welcoming you.
We are proud to participate in Doors Open Ontario at Four Corners on September 21st. Learn about Brampton’s early settlement, the signing of the Ajetance Treaty, the rise of the railway, our legacy as “The Flower Town of Canada,” and more.
The programs in this guide include those at our new Claireville branch, which opened earlier this year at the corner of Queen Street and The Gore Road. South Fletcher’s is closed for a major renovation, but programs are offered at its temporary location in Shoppers World mall. Wherever you go, our branches will inspire you!
