OUR SECOND SEASON
Every run starts and ends at the boat. Brakøya sits in the middle of the Raftsundet Strait with mountains on every side. Roads don't reach these peaks and helicopters aren't allowed to touch them. Every morning our boat runs you to the shore beneath whichever peak the guides have chosen. You clip in and skin up from the water's edge. Summit to sea, and back to the island for the hot tub and sauna.
THE SE A SON
March 1 to May 15 is prime season, but depending on conditions guests can ski October through June.
THE A CCE SS
Every tour begins and ends on the boat. No roads, no ski lifts, no lines.
THE TE R R A I N
Peaks straight out of the sea, and lines for every level.
THE GR O UP
Up to twelve guests, with certified mountain guides.

SKI WEEK · ARRIVAL
Coming In When you land at Evenes airport our driver will pick you up and shuttle you to the dock where your captain will take you on a half-hour cruise through the magical Trollfjord region to reach Brakøya. At Brakøya your guide and host will welcome you to your home for the next few days.

Making sure everything fits and works for the big day tomorrow

SKI WEEK · DAY ONE
Straight Up From the Sea MOR NING
Breakfast in the Main House as the light comes over the mountains Guides join for coffee with today's plan: which peak, what conditions and how long a day We gear up
ON THE MOUNTAIN
We cast off from the dock and head towards our ascent We find a soft landing on shore, clip in, and skin up from the water On the first day we ascend as a group. This gives guides a sense of everyone's skill levels and gives everyone a gentle start The thrill of the descent, finally riding the line you've been eyeing the whole way up
EVENING
Boat back to the island for some après ski, with drinks on the table, the sauna and hot tub ready Reminiscing over dinner about the day's escapades while plotting tomorrow's adventure
DA Y 2 O F 6
SKI WEEK · DAY TWO
Personalized Descents MOR NING
Breakfast and briefing. Now we're getting the hang of it From today the group can split in two, one group going longer, the other going gentler with more time for the view. Each group gets its own guide
AFTER NOON
Back on Brakøya, the ritual repeats: après, snacks, sauna, hot tub Then the other side of island life: down to the shore to forage mussels, pull up crab pots or dive for crabs in the cold clear water Take part in all of it or watch it from the dock with a drink in your hand, there's no wrong way to do it
EVENING
What you gathered comes first: mussels steamed in white wine, crab cooked at the water's edge while the chef finishes inside Everyone gathers around the long table for tales of the day's adventures and a well-earned feast

SKI WEEK · DAY THREE
Chasing the Ultimate Lofoten Experience By now the guides know the group and the group knows the rhythm. When conditions line up, this is the day we go after the big peaks — the once-in-alifetime summit with 360 degrees of Lofoten around you.
ON THE MOUNTAIN
The longer summit, the bigger descent or the hidden face that only opens up when the weather plays along The boat runs further along the coast, and lunch is enjoyed high above the archipelago with an Instagram worthy view
AFTER NOON
On the way home the boat slows down and the fishing rods come out. A few minutes is usually all it takes out here to catch a cod, a coalfish or a halibut if you are lucky Sauna and tub, which have never felt better. Après as always
EVENING
Dinner moves outside. Fire on the shore and grilling over an open flame — the fish you pulled up a few hours earlier, or local lamb and vegetables S'mores when the plates are cleared, the best stories of the day, with northern lights above if the sky is clear

SKI WEEK · DAY FOUR
The Last Full Day MOR NING
We shape the final day around the week so far. Some groups want one more big tour, others prefer a softer morning and a long afternoon on the island The guides read the room and the weather and the day becomes what it should be
AFTER NOON
Sauna, tub, après and snacks. One last time The rest of the afternoon belongs to the sea — a stroll along the shore, checking the crab traps or a paddle along the coast if the water is right
EVENING
The last dinner around the table is the best of the week: everyone gathered, brimming with stories and new experiences

SKI WEEK · DEPARTURE
Until Next Time MOR NING
We take it slow on the last morning. Breakfast and a final coffee or tea before the boat sets off One more tour first if your flights allow — the guides will happily set up a half day The boat back to your chauffeur and a scenic drive back to the airport, or skip the drive by taking a helicopter straight from the island

OUR SECOND SEASON
What the ski season makes possible.
Ski Season is the second of our seven seasons — March to May, when the light comes back fast and the snow cover is at its best. Because every tour starts at the boat and every mountain rises from the water, every peak in Lofoten is within reach. Nothing is set in stone: the day is built each morning around the snow, the wind and your group.
