Ownership of a professional basketball team might not be everyone’s idea of a family business, but in the new Netflix comedy series “Running Point,” premiering Thursday, Feb. 27, the Gordon family’s line of succession names an unexpected new president of the Los Angeles Waves. Influencer
Madison (Tennant) is an influencer using her vacation in Thailand for content on her social media and to promote several advertisers. Despite the lavish appearance of her experience, it is all highly curated, and Madison spends most of her vacation in her hotel bemoaning the fact that her longtime boyfriend, Ryan (Saper), did not come along with her. Madison meets CW (Naud), who takes her on a tour of Thailand’s hot spots. Arriving back at the hotel, they discover Madison’s room has been broken into and her passport stolen. Madison extends her vacation while she
waits for a replacement, but CW, enraptured by Madison’s lifestyle, decides to take it all for herself.

Project Silence
On a bridge connecting an island and its airport to the Korean Peninsula, deteriorating weather conditions leave a group of people stranded. A series of collisions and subsequent explosions compromise the integrity of the bridge, putting it at risk of collapsing. A breed of experimental dogs from a program called “Project

Silence” being transported in a military vehicle that got caught on the bridge are unintentionally released. The dogs, while originally intended to be more effective rescue dogs by making them reactive to human voices, were instead utilized as powerful attack dogs. Now, the survivors on the bridge must contend with the violent dogs while attempting to traverse the damaged bridge to safety as the weather conditions worsen.

Late Laughs
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert
This is a rare Sunday [Jan. 26] show for us, so of course this morning my staff and I all went to church together. CBS is a family. A family that occasionally cancels its children and then replaces them with a spinoff of one of their more successful children.

[President] Trump has been signing a lot of executive orders this week, and Thursday [Jan. 23] he released a real humdinger because he signed an order declassifying files on the JFK, RFK and MLK assassinations. This will be the biggest release of presidential secrets since we found out what the ‘B’ stands for in Lyndon B. Johnson. Bananas.

Well, I want to say congrats to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles on advancing to Super Bowl LIX. If you’re rooting for the Eagles, you’re probably from Philly. And if you’re rooting for the Chiefs, you’re probably an NFL referee.
The Chiefs are trying to become the first NFL team to win three Super Bowls in a row. It’s amazing to think that Travis Kelce could win three Super Bowls in a row, and it’s still not the thing people ask him most about.
I read that this year a 30-second Super Bowl ad costs more than $7 million. Yeah, the commercials are important because without
them, Americans would forget that beer, soda and chips exist.

The Super Bowl matchup is set. It will be a rematch of the teams who played two years ago, the Philadelphia Eagles against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are looking to become the first professional sports team to three-peat since the Lakers did it in 2002. Taylor Swift has now been to more Super Bowls than the New York Jets.
There is a growing movement afoot encouraging California to secede from the union. It’s a petition, and if 500,000 people sign it could make the ballot in 2028. They have until July to get the signatures, and this I think is a terrible idea. How about we figure out how to get out of the Dodger Stadium parking lot first.
Elon Musk ... gave [President] Trump $250 million and has reportedly been working so hard he’s sleeping at DOGE headquarters in the building next to the White House. He’s sleeping at work and yet somehow still finds time to post 600 times a day on Twitter. Elon loves telling people he sleeps at work; I’m not sure he even has a house. He has 12 children and no home; he’s like the old lady who lives in a shoe.
