In this project, Gard Gundersen Sagbakken and I designed terraced houses for families. The plot was centrally located in Trondheim, providing easy access to essential amenities and offering families the opportunity to live car-free.
To maximize the use of the plot, we designed the houses with a deep footprint and introduced an atrium on the first floor. This not only provided additional natural light but also served as a functional room divider and added an outdoor space for each residence.
The floor plan was well thought out, with a walking axis and a recreational axis on the ground floor and all rooms located along the stairwell on the first and second floors. This arrangement created a functional and efficient layout, suitable for family living.
The result is a development that prioritizes comfort, convenience, and connection to nature, making it an attractive option for families looking for a new home in Trondheim.
