Forest townhouse
Revit, Autocad, Illustrator, Enscape Semester 3: Housing, Professor: Olav Kristoffersen
In this project, our team was given the challenge of designing housing developments on randomly assigned fictional plots. My particular plot was the widest, measuring 12 meters in width. To maximize the potential of this generous space, I designed terraced houses that were only 5 meters wide, allowing for each unit to have its own private garden.

The plot presented a significant incline of 7 degrees, and I approached the design with this in mind. I sought to create a harmonious relationship between the house and the terrain by utilizing the slope to create different levels within the interior spaces. This allowed for a unique and dynamic layout that made the most of the available space.
The overarching goal of this housing project was to provide residents with close proximity to nature and the forest, while also addressing the need for densification. The combination of private gardens and access to nature creates a harmonious balance between urban living and the natural environment, offering residents the best of both worlds.
