Our recent Student–Parent–Teacher Conferences provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen the partnership between home and school, with strong engagement from across the Braemar community.
Across the two conference sessions, 1,082 students were represented, with 1,498 parents and guardians participating in the process. In total, 2,695 interviews were booked, with 2,685 attended, reflecting an exceptional 99% attendance rate This level of engagement speaks strongly to the sharedcommitmentoffamiliesandstafftosupportingeachyoungperson’slearningjourney
Beyond the individual interviews, our Middle School team also delivered a series of webinars in the Creative, Health and Physical Education, and Languages learning areas These sessions provided valuable insight into programs that operate differently from traditional classroom structures, and recordings are now available for families who were unable to attend via the links in the SPCT Portal PageonSEQTA.
Beyond the numbers, these conferences represent something far more meaningful. Each of the nearly 2,700 conversations provided an opportunity to reflect on progress, celebrate growth, and identify areas for continued development. They are a key moment in the learning cycle, where feedbackispersonalised, goalsarerefined, andrelationshipsarestrengthened.
At Braemar, we place great importance on knowing our students as both learners and individuals These conferences are a vital part of that work, ensuring that every student is supported through a strongandcollaborativepartnershipbetweenschoolandhome
