Term 1: 1 Feb 2027 – 25 Mar 2027
Term 2: 12 April 2027– 18 June 2027
Term 3: 13 July 2027 – 17 Sept 2027
Term 4: 4 Oct 2027 – 7 Dec 2027
At Braemar College, we take great care in reviewing our calendar each year to ensure that student learning days are consistent and that our staff have access to appropriate professional learning opportunities throughout the academic year.
In 2027, the number of student attendance days remains consistent with previous years. Given the colder climate in Woodend during the middle of the year, we will continue to implement a three-week mid-year break. The middle week of this break will be a full College shutdown, allowing all staff to take a break and recharge mid-year.
Please note that Term 1 in 2027 is shorter than the other terms due to the timing of Easter.
In addition, extensions for holidays outside these times require a request to be sent to the respective Head of School, as federal funding for our College is tied to student attendance.
Victorian Public Holidays Observed During Term Time in 2027
Labor Day: Monday, 8 Mar
ANZAC Day: Sunday, 25 April
King’s Birthday: Monday, 14 June
Melbourne Cup Day: Tuesday, 2 Nov
Please note: Braemar College observes a student-free day on Monday 1 Nov (the day before Melbourne Cup Day) However, VCE examinations will still be conducted on this day as per the VCAA schedule.
