BUILDING A GREENER FUTURE WITH SUSTAINABLE STEEL & ALUMINIUM DOORS
Bradbury Group is proud to launch EcoLeaf: the UK’s first low carbon security-rated doors with a 58% lower carbon footprint
Working in partnership with thyssenkrupp Steel Europe, BlueMint steel used in EcoLeaf doors is manufactured to the BS 10130 standard, the same standard attributed to traditional steel production and has the same metallurgical properties. Available with an internal fire rating of up to 240 minutes, EcoLeaf doorsets help lower a project's carbon footprint without compromising on safety.
Alongside our commitment to manufacturing doors from BlueMint steel, we collaborate with Hydro Aluminium to produce our ClassicAL door range using material that contains at least 75% recycled metal.
Using recycled aluminium significantly reduces energy consumption, requiring just 5% of the energy needed to produce virgin material. Additionally, Hydro Aluminium is certified through an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI).
