We mourn the loss of Dr Abu Abdullah Ziauddin Ahmad, professor and former Chairperson of the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Department, BRAC University, passed away on January 18th, 2018 at a local hospital. His namaz-e-janaza was held at Eidgah Masjid, Road 6/A, Dhanmondi, after Juma prayers on January 19th. He will be remembered among students and faculty of the university for his warmth, generosity, brilliance and unparalleled contribution to the field of Physics.
