It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to this special tournament, where we celebrate not only the spirit of competition but also the friendships and partnerships that continue to strengthen the global baseball community.
On behalf of Baseball Queensland, I extend a warm welcome to Mr. Arimoto, Ms. Yamasaki, and the talented athletes of the Kobe Koryo Female Baseball Team. We are honoured to host you here in Queensland and look forward to witnessing the skills and sportsmanship that have made Kobe Koryo a powerhouse in female baseball and repeat Koshien Tournament Champions.
This tournament would not be possible without the support of many, and I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Mr. Danny Maruyama, Baseball Queensland’s Special Advisor – Partnerships, Japan. His dedication and tireless efforts have been instrumental in fostering international connections that benefit the growth of baseball in Queensland and beyond.
I also want to congratulate the Queensland Women's Team on their selection to represent Queensland. Your commitment, perseverance, and talent have earned you a place in this prestigious team, and we are incredibly proud to see you take the field.
