Q2 2026

Market Report

BAY COUNTY

Rising | A Market on the Move

Bay County’s growth continued in the second quarter of 2026, with sales up 24% and sold volume rising 26% year over year. New construction played a significant role in that expansion, giving buyers more options across Panama City Beach and Panama City. Average sold prices held steady, edging up 2%, while slightly longer days on market reflect the added inventory entering the market rather than softening demand.

At Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida, our sales professionals were at the center of this momentum, guiding families through one of the busiest second quarters our region has seen in recent years. Whether the goal was a primary residence, a second home, or a long-term investment, our team combined local expertise with the strength of a globally respected brand to deliver results.

As we move into the second half of 2026, the outlook across the region remains strong. Rising sales, sustained buyer interest, and steady price growth point to a market with real staying power, one built on lifestyle, livability, and long-term value. We are grateful for the trust our clients place in us and look forward to continuing this momentum in the months ahead.

*Regional figures calculated by aggregating raw sales and volume totals across all communities within each area, then computing percentage change and average sold price from those combined totals, rather than averaging individual community percentages. Days on market is sales-weighted to reflect market-wide activity.
