What to Expect
Arrival & Check-In
When you arrive at our Poole Campus, head to the welcome desk outside of reception to sign in and collect your welcome pack full of freebies!
Course Activities (1.5 hours)
Kick things off with an interactive session in your course area. You’ll meet your lecturers, get key information about your curriculum area and get to know your new classmates.
Lunch and Festival Fun
After your session, grab some lunch on us and check out the activities and entertainment around campus. Explore, relax and enjoy!
2pm: Event Ends
Our event officially ends at 2pm, however you are free to leave whenever you please during the lunch period.

Getting to the College
Our Poole campus is easily accessible by public transport, making it simple for you to join us for New Student Welcome.
Bus Routes
Our campus is well-connected by local bus services, stopping just outside of our main entrance. Whether you’re coming from the town centre, or nearby locations, there’s likely a direct or connecting bus route for you.
M1: Poole to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, serving: Parkstone, Westbourne, Bournemouth and Castlepoint.
M2: Poole to Southbourne, serving: Parkstone, Westbourne, Bournemouth and Boscombe.
20: Poole to Castlepoint, serving: Poole, Parkstone, Branksome, Westbourne, Charminster and Muscliff.
15: Poole to Royal Bournemouth Hospital, serving: Parkstone, Wallisdown, Winton, Moordown and Castlepoint.
All single bus fares are currently just £2, whilst young people can get unlimited bus travel in Zone A for as little as £1.75 per day for unlimited trips, with verification through the MoreBus App.

Train Stations
We’re fortunate to be situated by two train stations, making travel by rail incredibly easy. Both stations are within walking distance of the college, offering fast connections to and from surrounding areas.
Parkstone Train Station:
Just a 15-minute walk from campus, with direct services from Weymouth and London Waterloo.
Poole Train Station:
A mile from our Poole Campus, with a taxi rank just outside platform 1.
