Things to Do
In addition to our beautiful beaches, you’ll find plenty to do along The Grand Strand. From golfing to watersports, museums, amusement parks, natural and state parks, entertainment centers, and shopping, there are literally thousands of attractions. Here are just a few of our favorites!

Just steps away from the beach, housed in a vintage beach cottage nestled beneath live oaks, the museum consists of 11 galleries, including a spacious reception gallery, house exhibitions of regional, national and international appeal that change frequently, and interactive, educational and creative programs and workshops for people of all ages. The Art Museum is a nonprofit institution and has proudly been admission free since 2003.

Brookgreen Gardens is a unique melding of art, nature, and history. This National Historic Landmark features a botanical garden, a zoo, and an internationally recognized art collection. Tucked away between Murrell’s Inlet and Pawleys Island, Brookgreen is one America’s premier gardens and one of a few select places in the United States to have earned accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums as well as being designated a National Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
