Summer Fun It’s Easy to be Kind

On Saturday, June 24 I witnessed a beautiful random act of kindness in the Cove In the afternoon a young woman named Wendy approached a senior in the Library parking lot and handed her a plastic container with a sandwich, cheese slices, and an apple

She invited the recipient to a nearby bench to eat

There is so much bad news in the world these days that I wanted to share something positive We should all feel good that we have in our midst citizens like Wendy I want to acknowledge her and thank her for her kindness

She makes me grateful to be living on Bowen Island
