It's time to act

The climate crisis has come to the fore over the past year, and the message is clear: we must act, and act now. Our role as a university is pivotal in inspiring and educating the next generation and advancing knowledge to underpin decisions about how we live, work and study. Over the past year we have made good progress in embedding sustainability within BU's education and research while, on the operational front, we have exceeded our carbon reduction target two years early. Of course, there is always more to do and we look forward to tackling the challenges facing us and playing our part in transforming our world. We can – and must – all make a difference for a fairer and better world for everybody. “
