War of the Hummingbirds

begins in silence…ends in silence like inhaling/exhaling once the violence vague, barely implied colors shed tangential red and green mist of subtle implication animated peripheral vision barely spied... the battle rages like giggling and akimbo posture flutter as tie dyed cotton feather missiles shot flying not at so much at but backward and away simultaneously attack and retreat in one blurred motion then over again barely perceived done and over just that fast the great conflict of the hummingbirds is a flash leaves all the feeders intact and the nectar flowers laughing out loud the battlefield smells of honey in the aftermath everything is happy and alive for the first time in awhile leaves all the feeders intact, and the world growing some more after the brief pastel explosion of a hummingbird war.
