The top 14 fan-favorite musical acts from the past 10 years of Boulder International Film Festival Singer Songwriter Showcases will perform this year at The Spotted James. There will be a host of performers, including favorites such as Otis Taylor, Rebecca Folsom and Tom Wassinger and Magic Music.

The awards ceremony will also honor Alicia Graves, who will be receiving the YWCA Community Impact Maker Award.

One Way-Back Day brings African, Black, Gullah, and GeeChee American fairy tales and folklore to life. After more than a year in development, One WayBack Day makes its world-premiere at the Dairy through March 19. Sit a spell and listen to Lettice, a 101-year-old Black matriarch, recount her family’s struggle with the mythical entity called Boo Hag and weave fantastical tales conjured from her century of living. You’ll encounter sea dragons, a talking redfi sh, anthropomorphic eggs, and a perfect daughter (who just happens to be a yam). You’ll revisit the past, jump forward generations, explore historic waters, and ultimately reconcile a fraught familial relationship.

As a Brazilian cultural ambassador, Luciana da Silva shares her love of dance, music and authentic Brazilian culture with an open heart.
