Ed Messman, Rook Capital’s CEO

Ed Ed has 28 years experience working with venture capital and private equity backed startups. Ed spent his first 13 professional years in the venture capital industry working through two market “bubbles” (2000 and 2008) with hundreds of companies from startup to exit. He has spent the last 15 years as an entrepreneur and operator where he has been part of 5 startups, multiple rounds of institutional financings, and 3 exits in enterprise software, big data, and currently Proptech/Web3. Ed and his wife have lived in Boulder for 25 years where they have raised their 3 kids.
