It’s Up to Us Now, as the decades have passed and the number of Salesians has lessened, Techmen have increasingly become the stewards of the Tech and of its legacy. The school has increasingly transitioned to alumni leadership and it’s up to Techmen to ensure the school’s future as a recognized leader in education. We’re grateful for what was instilled in us during our formative years and now, more than ever, it’s up to us, together.

LEGACY “As in most independent schools, tuition doesn’t fully cover the cost of a Tech education. While tuition is $14,500, it actually costs more than $21,200 to educate each student. As a Salesian school, the cost must remain affordable for every family and that costly gap is filled by the generosity of friends and alumni who support our mission.”

WHAT IS “THE GAP?” Like the vast majority of independent and Catholic schools, tuition does not cover the full cost to educate a student. The difference between the cost to educate a student and tuition is known as “the gap.” Our technology programs nearly double this cost as well. That’s why your support of the Tech Fund is so vital for our programs to thrive. This year, “the gap” per student is $6,700, without counting financial aid.
