Natural Pearls 1

From Conch to Melo Melo and more, these are the rarest of all pearls, made exclusively by nature and found by happenstance by a lucky few.

Conch pearls are largely bubblegum pink in color and are non-nacreous— they have a porcelain-like sheen and flame patterns created by calcareous concretions instead of nacreous ones. Conch pearls are from the Queen Conch mollusk, which is native to the Caribbean.

Similar to conch pearls, Melo Melo pearls are also non-nacreous and exhibit a porcelain-like sheen and flame patterns, but the primary colors are orange to brown. Melo Melo pearls are from the marine gastropod species Volutidae, or Melo Melo large sea snail, which is native to the South China and the Andaman Seas.
