WHAT IS ECOSENSE CERTIFICATION?

WHAT IS RETRY CERTIFICATE?

ECOSENSE Certificate is awarded to companies that manufacture sheets and trays, and to packagers whose plastic waste is recycled and reincorporated into manufacturing processes for new products.

It applies to all our single-dose formats in plastic caps and it means that the plastic used in the container manufacturing process is obtained from recycled plastic.

The process considers all stages of production: from manufacturing to return of leftover materials. This circular economy system minimizes environment impact while it offers all guarantees and comforts of single-dose format.

Capricho Andaluz is the first packaging factory to obtain the RETRAY Certificate. This certification integrates all the ECOSENSE requirements, and it broadens their scope derived from UNE 15343. It recognizes and disseminates the work of those companies that have introduced transparent recycled PET from recycling processes as a secondary raw material into its manufacturing process or into thermoforming or film use, both monolayer and multilayer, into Tray-to-Tray circuit, approved by Foundation. The final aim of this circuit is to increase the volume of wasted PET trays and PET films transformed into new brand PET films and PET trays. In that way, circular model encourages gradual reduction of volume of non-recycled materials, and it has established as preferred final destination, recycling processes made by approved recyclers, in order to guaranteeing its correct recycling and material availability for Tray-to-Tray circuit.
