Rotary Club Honors Students of the Quarter At the Nogales Rotary Club luncheon on Thursday May 7th the Club honored second and ninth grade students selected by their respective schools as Student of the Quarter. This is the last of the classes to be honored this year by the Club. Each of the students and their school representatives were introduced and given an opportunity to speak. The school representatives explained to the people present why this student was selected. In every case the qualities related included good scholarship, helpful attitudes towards others in the classroom, and a desire to work hard and be successful. The Student of the Quarter meetings are always the best attended and as usual club members were amazed by quality of character exhibited by each honoree. The Club uses this time to thank the students, teachers, and parents for helping to make Nogales a better place to live. Every one of these students, and their parents, can be proud of their accomplishments and hopefully they will continue to build on them throughout their lives.
