You’ll thoroughly enjoy each round played on the top-rated Boot Ranch course designed by PGA legend Hal Sutton. Hal took full advantage of the existing contours of the property and created a course that rises and falls with the terrain, and delivers exhilarating views of each hole from elevated tees.

The award-winning 34-acre Practice Park includes a three-sided driving range for practicing into various wind directions, a short range for refining your approach shots, and a three-hole short course set up to play nine holes from 80 to over 200 yards. At one acre, our new Putting Park is the largest in Texas, with an 18-hole circuit that’s fun for kids and scratch golfers alike.

Our golf professionals offer private instruction, and also organize junior programs, member clinics and social events. Caddies and forecaddies are available to make your Boot Ranch golf experience even more enjoyable. Along the course you’ll find three comfort stations stocked with snacks and beverages.

Golf cart use, private lockers, club storage and practice balls are included with golf membership dues.

The majestic Clubhouse Village is perched on a bluff at one of the highest points on the property, offering cool breezes and 25-mile Hill Country views.

This is the social hub of Boot Ranch, where you’ll enjoy perfectly prepared cuisine served in the main Dining Room, the Bar & Bistro, Men’s Grill, or outdoors on the terraces. Two private dining rooms and a wine cellar are available for member events.

The Clubhouse Village also includes Men’s and Ladies Locker Rooms plus a Spa where massage services are offered by appointment.

Ten spacious and beautifully appointed Lodge Suites are available for use by members and their guests. Each suite features a fireplace, sitting area, morning kitchen and private porch.

If the Clubhouse Village is the heart of Boot Ranch, the staff is the heartbeat. You’ll find gracious service at every turn and an eagerness to help create great experiences for members and their guests.

The Ranch Club is the center of warm-weather action at Boot Ranch. The luxurious open-air Pavilion features a bar and grill with a wood-fired pizza oven, TVs, a fireplace and fire pit, ping pong, foosball and kids’ activities.

Enjoy three heated pools – a family pool with lap lanes, a beach-entry kids’ pool, and a quiet pool with Jacuzzi on the lower level. You’ll find ample room for lounging and enjoy wellappointed changing rooms with lockers and showers, and full towel service.

Our new 3,500 square-foot Fitness Center offers premium workout equipment and a movement studio for yoga, pilates and fitness on demand.

When you drop a line into any of our wellstocked spring-fed lakes, you’re likely to pull out a big one. The pier at Hole #10 is even outfitted with fishing tackle for member use.

Hone your marksmanship skills or enjoy friendly competition with other members at our trap & skeet range. If you’re interested in a hunting expedition, Member Services can make arrangements for you on nearby ranches.

Follow the trail to Longhorn Lake where you’ll find The Landing, a large covered deck with fireplace for lakeside gatherings. Nearby are two of the coolest treehouses ever, nested in grandfather oaks, connected by a swinging bridge, with slides and fire poles for exits.

Get a quick lesson in stand-up paddleboarding, or paddle around in one of our kayaks or canoes. Sun yourself on the sand beach, or take a swim in the lake. You can hop aboard a raft, pull yourself to the far shore just like Huck Finn, then climb the jumping platforms and make a splash.

There’s much more to come, too. Plans are in the works for the Lake House, a casual family outpost at Longhorn Lake.

While most property owners are eager to complete their homes in the Hill Country, there is no time limit on building at Boot Ranch, and you may enjoy membership privileges immediately.

COUNTRY HOMES For a highly personalized home without the time investment that a custom home typically requires, you may start with one of our approved Country Home plans. These plans average 4,000 square feet and combine historically inspired exteriors with open and airy interiors.

From there, you may work with our preferred architects, interior designers and builders to create a one-of-a-kind residence.

OVERLOOK CABINS Inspired by the 19th-century homes of historic Fredericksburg, our Overlook Cabin designs feature unique details and local materials. These turnkey architectural plans include intimately scaled one to three bedroom main cabins, barn-style garages and spacious outdoor courtyards, with the option to add guest cottages. Overlook Cabins are clustered in a neighborhood above the 10th Hole, or may be adapted for homesites throughout Boot Ranch.

SUNDAY HOUSES Each Sunday House is a four-to-six bedroom fully furnished second home, providing an ideal balance of privacy and community for extended family, friends or business guests.

Eight families divide the use and operating cost of each Sunday House, affording each owner 40 days of use or more each year.

Professional management of housekeeping, maintenance, and scheduling is provided, plus the exclusive use of two golf shuttle carts for each property. Owners enjoy full multi-generational Club membership privileges whenever they are in residence at a Sunday House or Lodge Suite.

SUMMER HOMES In response to demand for home plans that combine the best design aspects of our Overlook Cabins and Sunday Houses, we’ve created Summer Homes.

The base plan includes a wonderful large gathering house with three bedrooms and a two-car garage. You may add a bunk room, an apartment above the garage, or a twobedroom guest house. Or all of the above.

This is a “whole-ownership” home, meaning your family can use it whenever you want. When you’re not using it, you have the option of making it available to other members through our residential rental program.

METZGER PARK A NEIGHBORHOOD MADE FOR FUN Our newest neighborhood, Metzger Park, is nestled between the golf Practice Park, the 9th Hole and the Ranch Club. It is named for the 19th-century Metzger House which has been transformed into a general store and mail center. Here we’ve created family attractions that include a 3.5-acre activities field, a playground, and our amazing Putting Park, the largest putting green in Texas at more than one acre.
